Fascinated by the applications of mathematics

Ever since I was fascinated with maths and its remarkable applications. My fascination led me to specialize in Applied Mathematics at the University of Damascus which included mathematical analysis and statistics. Afterward, I taught mathematics at international schools for two years. In 2015, I fled to the Netherlands and continued studying applied mathematics and obtained a master’s degree from Utrecht University. Afterwards, I worked as a data scientist carrying out supplier, financial data analysis, and product flow optimization that substantially increased the company’s turnover.

Pushing businesses forward

During my time as a data analyst and communicator, I found that the insights hidden in the data can be hard to see and learn from. Decisions are taken based on gut feelings because the available data can be quite challenging to understand and utilise. Moreover, the insights from the data are often difficult to apply to all the different parts of a business. These realisations have driven me to help clients see and use the insights in their data. Subsequently, I founded Data & Visions at the beginning of 2023 in the belief that every client requires a different approach to get the most out of their data. The process of extracting data, creating reports, or providing analysis should therefore be flexible, scalable, and adjusted to the client’s needs. Data & Visions is founded on the idea that from the right data reports and dashboards, valuable analyses can be done to reveal true and hidden insights to significantly enhance your business.
